Well, this is a short post and will most likely only help a few people. But anyways, I've been working on a new header panel to replace the one I broke. However, the headlight bezels were not fitting properly into the header panel. This is all for and from a 97' XJ.
What was happening is the tabs on the lower part of the bezel were warped to the point that they wouldn't not clip on to the header panel. I ended up rebending them using some boiling water, it works. No distortion to the paint what so ever (if you don't use pliers). It should work on the grill insert as well if there are similar issues. Anyways, hope this helps someone somewhere haha.
