hard shifting clutch problem? 90 xj 5spd

Could not get transmission to shift in any gears, checked reservoir it was almost empty, refilled it, got it to work for about 25 miles. looked and found no visible signs of leakage. could this be a bad slave cylinder or master cylinder. seems reservoir is holding fluid now. also checked the fluid a few days ago it was fine. any ideas or hints on how to repair this or what i should do?

sounds like a slave cylinder to me u could prob see master leaking

found no sings of leaking externaly
traced feom master to slave
refilled master--drove 25 miles
master still full but still hard to shift
will try to bleed --- are these bleeders easly broken ?
and should l use pb blaster on the bleeder?
