Half of gauge cluster won't light up

95 4.0/AW4
The left half of the cluster lights up (tach, temp and fuel) the other half and climate controls are dark.
Any ideas?

has anyone been behind the dash for anything else, recently?

All of the dash/instrument cluster lamps are on the same fused circuit, so I would look at burned bulbs first and a broken connection on the printed circuit board on the back of the dash second (since half of them still work)
