Got these on a package deal with some other used jeep parts. Once their bolted on, the further forward I move the shackle, the lower the ass end will sit correct? Seems like it'll put the shackle at a greater angle, making it sit lower the further forward their bolted in. Am I looking at this right?

At static ride height you want the shackle to be at a 45* angle. So, yes it'll make the rear sit lower than it would if your angle was vertical. I doubt you'll notice a major change in height though. Depends on the length of your shackle.

That's what I'm thinking, might move it one hole forward and go one hole up on my shackle. Surely between those two I'll get what I'm looking for.

Attempting to stuff 33's with 2" lift :explosion

...using a 1" - 2" shackle btw.

What's y'all's opinion on the angle? At this, it's the ride height I'm looking for. There's about 1.25 rake on the jeep which by the time I get hi lift, spare tire, tools, etc in the back it should sit about right.

Here's the front. Plan on bolting the factory fenders back on once I get my fender trimming done. Basically shoot for a 2" lift and I'll be running 33x10.5x15 KM2's.

Do I need more lift on the front for these shocks? I've got a shorter set I could use...

Well I ended up changing out the RE shocks back with my factory shocks for now. Got it rolled outta the garage for the first time, my attempt at trimming the fenders and reusing the factory fenders flares.

Opinions on the front flares?

Also threw a Spartan in the front.

Run the flares. I wish I still had mine.

flares look good,

if you end up getting another set, you can flip the left side to the right, and then trim the former front edge (now the back) to follow the body contour all the way down to the rockers.
