Got my lights mounted... figured you desert guys might like em.

Im in the middle of building my exo/inner cage and decided to start working on the light bar mounts and mounting.

Got it pretty much finished up... I dig the Baja/Jeepspeed style, so thats what I went with. Lights are Hella 4000's, that have been converted to HID. They are just sitting there for pictures right now. The 'box' thing behind them is what holds the ballast packs.

Im still trying to figure out what the thing with 3 smaller dimples in it, is in the last pic...? Are the plate stand-off hole layouts differant side to side?

Good eye... yep, they are very different. I am building the cage around the snorkel, so the driver side is much different from the more simple passenger side. Made it a lot of fun lining everything up. Not much I could do about it as I wanted to keep the snorkel, so I worked with what I had.

whew..... while I can say I have spent several months out there (ontario, LA, etc)for various training sessions, I have little desire to go back.

Feel free to come out to the ATL though!

Sweet design! And the light bar looks awesome. I too like the prerunner/jeepspeed look and ended designing my roof rack in a similar way.
