good offroad mags?

One that hasn't been mentioned... Jeep Junkie - Only 4 issues I year, but not bad reading. They cater mostly to the Jeep wagons and grocery getters

Also worth mentioning is JPFreek... I'd rather have it in paper format, but the price is certainly right!!

CRAWL had great pictures, and overall was a really nice magazine. Just too buggy oriented for my taste. Take a look at pirate to see the trouble with them.

I haven't seen an issue of 4WD and Sport Utility for a while, but I used to really like it. Good pictures and good articles.

Uh huh.... Mmmmmmmmmmmmm.

You worked/wrote for them too, right? So you have some interest in promoting their mag, no?

John, it helps that they promote your business too, right?
Fail.

At the time of those posts, I had absolutely nothing to do with CRAWL, nor did John. What are you getting at?

wow, this thread is 2 years old now. :) Way back when, I did pick up a couple magazines (Petersons, and another that I forget) at a local shop.

I changed jobs a month after my original post, so I no longer had hours of free time at work... I got a 2 year subscription for cheap to JP Magazine at an event that summer. I finally did a 3 year subscription to Crawl this past summer. Got one issue in November, and it looks like that may be the only issue I'll get from them. *sigh*
