Well I loved the speed and jumps etc, at Glen Helen so much in my Ultra4 car, that now we are going to see what Jeepspeed is all about and like on the track.
They are putting me in the 3700 class since I have a stroker motor. Even though I am a Stock Class 4600 car in Ultra4. So I dont expect to be as competitive as I could be. But with be doing what I can to make up for no shocks thru body in to cage, or 15"+ of travel etc, I hope to still be fast enough...
So to the reason of this posting.
Does anyone have by chance any 17" wheels in a 8lug 6.5" pattern. Basically older ford/chevy and dodge.
The stickler is that they need to be one of the following brands.
American racing
KMC
XD
ATX
Motegi
basically thinking that I might beable to find some rockstars or something like that since those were so common in OC/LA for bigger trucks years ago and now those trucks are getting sold/traded in/scraped, etc...
I have tires covered I think, those have to be general.
I understand why they require set brand wheels and tires, but it sucks that I can run my Monster beadlocks and MTR's...
I am open to condition as these will likely only be one race and then upgraded to KMC beadlocks if we feel we can even be close to competitive with 3700's and we have fun....
