So, I had to get a bearing off of this carrier...
I didn't have a press.
All I had handy was a 3 jaw puller, a harmonic balancer puller and the bolts that go with it...
Sooo, we put them all together and made a contraption that got them suckers off! It was quite handy that Dana put the little notches in the carrier under the bearing... the ring gear side took a little heat to get off but it worked...
and a better picture with Aprils phone...
How bout that? I didn't even put out an eye the first 15 times it slipped off! I did bust a few knuckles tho.
