Getting pictures off a Razr V3M

I'm trying to get a couple pictures off my cell phone. I plugged it up USB and it comes up as a USB motorola modem. Has anyone ever tried this and found a solution?

My Motorola V235 has to have a "media pack" ( which is another $50) to get the pics off of it. Crock of poopoo if you ask me. You may be in the same boat. :dunno:

The program is called "Motorola Phone Tools". I can provide you this software if you are not Anti-warez. (I don't pay for ANY software)

Just email them to your self on line then go from there.

This is what i do with my V3M.
If the phone is out of commission, then using MPT is the only other way to get the pictures off of the phone.

Easiest way, put a mini card in there, I have a 1 gig in mine, I just pop the card out and into a reader then copy to my pc. I hacked my E815 so I could transfer with thru the data cable or over bluetooth but so far there is no hack for the RARZR's. The hack also allowed me to cut my own ring tones and move them up to the phone from my PC.
I don't think the mpt will do it, that only give you the calender, phone book, etc.

Im not sure what version of MPT your familiar with, but im absoloutly certain the latest version lets you work with your pictures. (that is if it was actually never offered in earlier versions)

I've had MPT at home for the last 2 years, no problems getting A/V on or off the a RAZR.

Yea, but from what part of the razr, the phone side or the memory card side ?
Can you see your ringtones folder with the MPT ?

Yup..... loaded Toccata & Fugue in D minor, and the ZOWIE phone from _Our Man Flint_ as MP3 ringtones.

Thats probably why your having trouble... Verizion puts all kinds of restrictions on the phone within their firmware..

However IIRC, you can flash that thing to have the alltel firmware and be rocking and rolling.

I personally have Us Cellular (CDMA). Sure its not a IDEN, or GSM (using a SIM card), but my phone gets reception EVERYWHERE. Shoot the 3400 mile trip across the country i only couldnt get signal once, and that was for about 2 minutes! My poor GF has T-Mobile, and she used my phone for all her phone calls ROFL!

again, verizon ? Verizon cripples the motorola features to make you pay verizon for them. Like ring tones and photos.

I have a Verizon phone, yes they are crippled. Costs 50 cents per picture to send. Just get a MicroSD card, plug it in and copy pics over to that. I do it all the time, including music, movies, ringtones etc.
