i did a bunch of cat napping on the plane. when we got in yesterday morning i took a shower and about a 2 hour nap....was up till past dinner, was just getting to sleep when I got woken up and asked for my ID so they could try to manifest me on a bird....got to sleep till about 0030 or so.....and been up since. current time here is 0419

I think he's headed to Bagram airbase...and he's still in Kuwait, not sure exact locale there. Does that help?

ah. if he was goin to kandahar then i really would smack him upside the head cuz thats where I'm going. Dont think i'll ever go up to Bagram for anything.
 
Yeap... Im currently stuck in Ali Al Salem, Kuwait waiting on standby for a flight into Bagram Afgan. Im like #92 on the list right now. Everyone has priority over me (contractor) so I keep getting bumped. Have fun in Kandahar. Thats been a rather hot spot lately. You never know, we may just bump into each other. My company seems to be putting me on whatever airframe they need guys on (stupid 60's lol).

What kinda magazines you like? Are they handy/useful? Or do you not have time for stuff like that? I get the a few car/truck mags, and I try to get them out of the house when I'm done with them. I'd just as soon send them to you than recycle them here!

anything vehicle or weapon related is cool. I really like national geographic if anyone gets it and doesnt keep the issues. snacky type stuff is always a major bonus.

hey guys just wanted to let yall know I made it to Kandahar safe and sound. Got to spend some time with the hubby as well too. I'll start taking pictures here at some point in time, then i'll get around to posting them maybe when I get net in the room. I dont have a pc yet, but that'll probably change here soon.

HEY! Where's my care package!? I've been in Iraq for the past two months! LMAO! I'm just playing! I can't wait to get home in Dec and do some winter wheeling. Eric (trailratethis) is picking up my XJ from my wife in a couple weeks and is gonna put some toys on it for me while I'm gone. I know it's in good hands, lol. As long as Glenn doesn't come over and mess with it! j/k!

If you do get me some sand, keep track of where you got it from so I can make sure it's all labeled.
