Gettin old is a bummer

In January I was getting out of my vehicle at work and started to slip on the ice. I reached out and caught myself with my left hand on the B pillar. It felt like I sprained it so I have been babying it and using a brace. I finally went to the doctor and found out I completely tore a ligament in the wrist. It looks like I'm going to have to have it cut on.

Hopefully I can schedule it and work around wheeling. If I miss this year I am going to go nuts. They are saying it will be in a cast for a minimum of two months.

I may have to get a step stool with a rope on it to get in the rig.:bawl:

Hey Frank.......Thats one.

The answer to all your problems Tom......

You can use it to get in/out of your rig, and do those pesky engine/trans swaps. Hell, pull it up around the pit fire at CO Fest and be the envy of everyone!

Naw, getting hurt is a bummer, sorry to hear it.

The soccer mom retractable step idea is a good one. Just disguise it as a hydraulic rock rail. Make it stout enough you can lift the Jeep, change the tires, whatever!

Troy's idea? Looks like a hot-foot waiting to happen. LOL

How about an airbag suspension. That way I can slam it to get in.

I know a few hispanics in greeley that could pull that off for you. Then again they might steel it after they install it but thats a risk you'll have to take right.
