I'm about to pick up a D44 and I've been looking for a place here in the valley to install gears for the right price... any suggestions? and scrappy, i'm still looking too.
I was quoted 600 for just an install for front and rear from a shade tree shop in reedley, I know fearless will be around 1000, 4WP is 1100 with gears... hmm...

Extreme Offroad in Clovis did mine. Think it was about $350 for the rear and about $450 for the front, but my axles were on the vehichle.

good job?
thanks ben, still got that bastard pack?

Yeah it was a good job from what I could see. I thought it was a little pricey, but not so if other places are charging 1000 per axle. Fearless gear is the best quality from what i understand. It is cheaper if the axles are off the vehichle, opened up and ready for installation.

Only 2 places I would pay to have my gears set. Bayshore Enterprises and Fearless Gear. Anywhere else, and your missing out.

Like I said, I do my own. I will do your with a no guarantee :confused1

hey... if you wanan do mine after all we've talked about, please be my guest. I'll provide the beer and money, but you're gonna bite a bullet if they break! lol j/k

The place I called about regearing told me they charged more if the axles were off the vehicle because it was harder to brace it to torque everything down.... interesting.........
