Gas mileage for 33's good or bad

Let us not forget, then I6 engine LIKES higher RPMS. With 4.88s and 32s I spin 2 grand-ish on highway, and engine seems perfectly happy with it.

I run 4.56s and 32s and get like 13mpg city and 16mpg highway. At 70mph I think it is spinning at like 2600-2700rpm, seems kind of fast but that is where stock the stock 4.0l makes the most torque. This way you aren't lugging the motor, its right in the meat of the powerband.
The highways I drive are also somewhat hilly so the lower gears helps out a lot and not to mention how much more fun they are around town.

My Jeep gets terrible mileage, 33x12.50s, 3.55s, aw4, 4.0L

In town I see around 11.5mpg poking around driving as easy as possible which is HORRIBLE, especially when I have a Subaru STi in the garage running 110 octane fuel that still gets 18mpg....

I hate my Jeeps mileage... :(
