My brother is wanting to see what he can do in his suburban and wants to try to get to Strawberry Lake, but I think there are spots way to tight for it. Red lake is quite a bit more open except for the last 200 feet to the lake or so right?

I ran my 74 chevy 4x4, shortbed, no power steering mind you to Coyote lake and I think back out to strawberry lake?? we got lost so I dont know where we were. The truck had only 33`s and a 4 in lift. It did fine except for a torn open rear diff cover, and dented camper shell. Also my wrists and thumbs will never be the same either. I can see taking a sub there however, but what the hey, be the first!

I took my old cruiser the rubicon on 35s without PS. My hands had significantly less skin on them by the end! Good times. I did manage to keep from getting my thumbs ripped off though.

The suburban definately couldn't make Coyote. I know the first few hundred feet out of Red are pretty tight and I know he's not going to want any body damage.

I also remember the begginer of strawberry having some tight turns right in the biggining and kissing the trees inour bronco and landcruiser. Guess we'll find out! :)

Take lots of pics. I will admit the Coyote lake run I made last year was about 10 times worst that when I took the Chebby years ago. Or maybe Im just gettin old.

I ended up not going. They made it all the way in to Strawberry in about 3 hours. Guess its doable in a big ass Suburban on 35s!
