Front Hub Re-Assembly Q's

I have just swapped in some stronger TJ D30 Shafts, I had to remove the TJ Hub's, and swap on the XJ hubs. After Tq'ing them to the 175 Ft-Lb They seems to be seized. I stuck a screw driver in the slot of the rotor and gave it a good tug, and everything seemed to free up.

Is this normal?

Were the brakes dragging? Rotors rusty? Did you eliminate the dust sheilds? Were the u-joints good?

I think you have to torque the hubs with the wheels installed & the tires on the ground,
Did you do it that way?
Am I correct about this?

Eliminate things? NAw... I just jamed things back together.

If it seems fine now (nothing grinding or rubbing) I wouldn't worry about it. Sometimes when you torque hubs if you don't give them a spin as you tighten them down the wheel bearing can jam up. I'd just double check the torque because if they did jam up you could get a false reading. Then call it good
