Free to a good home: 2001 OEM stereo and speakers

Just pulled them out when I upgraded to an aftermarket system.

The head unit is a CD/Cassette unit. I don't know how well the cassette player works but CDs play fine.

Speakers work fine.

I don't suppose they're worth much. If you come get them you can have them for free. If I drive somewhere to drop them off to you, you'll have to buy me a beer.

I've been on the hunt for one in good cosmetic shape to replace mine. All my buttons are wearing off and the cd player needs a good knock every now and then to play newer burned cds.

lol yep, those of us with the ole stocker nostalgia are stuck burning cds if we want to get our groove on to the latest celine deon album! grimm that may work, no rush on pics.

I forgot to keep the stocker when I upgraded mine, first upgrade stereo I've done.
If I sell the XJ which is looking likely I'd pull the new stereo out, so your would come in handy. I could drive over to Aurora from West Denver if Tampa passes.

looks good to me. Just shoot me your paypal info and how much shipping is. Don't need the speakers.

Aldous - If you want my old one let me know. Everything works, just the pwr button is worn off(cosmetic) and sometimes the eq orange lights don't turn on, it still works, just the lights randomly don't turn on. Sometimes I have to put burned cds in multiple times to get them to read, but I think that is more of a technology issue than a failure issue. Would certainly work as a stock out piece for selling your jeep. Can't imagine its much more than $15 to ship these things.

Thanks Tampa, I'll check around local and let you know.

fyi, Grimm I found recently that those flat rate boxes weren't a good deal.
I was shipping something about the size of this stereo and a plain box was a fair bit less.
ymmv based on weights, sizes etc.
