Fix of the Day!

Today mine is Mini Skids:

Good idea, I like this thread. I'll try and get some stuff posted up after my drunk'n Halloween stooper. I've got plenty of things fix, including installing my engine! My Jeep always got mysteriously hot on my feet during long drives and I found out why, a huge gash is missing in the first layer of the fire wall. I thing some must have messed it up pulling the engine or tranny at one point in my Jeeps life. Never would of found that if my good ol rebuilt engine didnt grenade on me.

Today's fix for my XJ is to replace the ujoints in the rear shaft - this thing is vibing like crazy. Probably do the front as well just for grins.

Looks like you just cut a hole in the floor.

I had a broken seat mount bolt, that is how I fixed it. :twak:

replaced my flasher relay with an electronic flasher, no more LED induced fast flashers.

FOTD...MY JEEP! Its all up and running again, hopefully the rebuilt engine lasts more then 25,000 miles like last time. We'll see what happens I suppose. Next project is fix a hole in my fire wall so maybe my damn interior wont get so hot!
