it was good meeting you the other day Kernel, show up Saturday, it'll be fun. there'll be a lot of XJs, but I doubt yours is the one we'll be waiting on.

So who is going to be the "weak link"? Somebody has to be, it's not a problem, but does everyone have at least 33s/2 lockers or 35s/1 locker?

No, I think we are all "set up" & "hardcore" That doesn't mean we can't take hard lines on stuff and make it harder. My xj is my dd for the next few weeks while my wife's 98' grand prix gets fixed from a fender bender. I like bumper cars o.k. :dunno:

well after today i will have a front tow hook. and my cracks are welded and all the bolts are tight. have a new trac bar mount with the RE brace. so my jeep should b good enough for ur guys standards. i will b towing my jeep up and runnin with u guys on sat.

i still don't understand with all the ppl how me are going to make it all the way through forydice in a day but what they hey!!!!

I guess we're all set up & hardcore. :dunno: I got about 1-1/2 hrs into the trail 1 time and had a good time. With the amout of people we have and the knowledge of the group in regards to wheeling exp, wrenchers, etc we should be able to make it in 1 long day. It's going to be tough starting at 10, but hopefully people will have eaten and be ready to wheel to 2 or so before we stop to eat or so. I look forward to meeting you guys whatever happens. You're the reason I got an xj in the 1st place as did my bro Nate (DaystarNJO). :yelclap: Sorry I piss some of you guys off with my persistence etc.

When are you guys doing the Con, on Saturday? Is the group getting that big that we need to seperate? Do what you want but, we should probably stay together. We don't do these big events that much.

no kidding! seems like the number has doubled since I asked you a few weeks ago if I could join. what's the plan as far as order? is it fastest to put the more capable rigs at the front, back or scattered? I've never wheeled with more than 2 other vehicles, this will be ... umm... "interesting"

I think Bill who was giving away free stuff had a tailgate. I didn't see it when I went to his place, but I thought he had 1. There is another guy in Ukiah that has 5 xj and 2 mj that people sort of give to him in town, I wish more of us had that problem, right. You should be able to get parts from him, if you want his info I should be able to get it from my post in early June after the Lost Coast trip.
So can any of us guys come with you on your Fordyce trail run on Labor Day weekend? Billy started the post asking if people want to do a run. If Billy wouldn't started that thread, I probably would have. Most people should have a 3 day weekend then. It might be very crazy on the Con, but Fordyce should be fine, either 1 is fine with me.
