ford HP44's: what tire size are you running

just outta curiosity, how much money do you guys have tied up in the 44's?

include the axle itself and the aftermarket for it...thanks

Way to much I could have had one hell of a D60 for the same price as one hell of a D44.



Do your self a favor, and build a D60. If you want to run 37-40'' tires theres no sense in limiting yourself on tire size due to front axle strength.


I have a fully polished hp44 with no breakage (knock on wood) for 2 years. Im a fairly conservative driver, but am not worried about hitting the stupid pedal a little bit.

Running 35'' MTRs, hopefully upgrading to 37'' MTRs within the year. :thumbup:
