Ford F250 auto hubs

Ok, I've already been told about the Ford auto hubs being junk, so besides that advice.....

I need some help locating a part that seems to be specific to these auto hubs.

Ford parts has them..... in a $90 spindle nut kit!

No place else seems to have them separately - but then again, I don't know exactly what to call the damn thing so I can't ask specifically for what I need.

Most Ford forums require registration in order to search (PITA) or searching simply has shown manual hub swap info with little specifics.

Here's the part:

It's a snap ring with a key tab on it that is used to lock in the inner hub nut. This one is barely useable but it's the only one I've been able to find so far. The ones in the truck sheared off the key tab and are no longer useable.

I just wanna put this truck back together to sell, but I suppose if I can't find these silly little clips without spending $180 to get them, then I may have to explore the next option: converting both hub assemblies to a manual hub from a donor truck.

If any of you know someone who knows Ford D60 TTB front ends and these auto hubs - and knows where to get the clips I'd love to hear their advice. OR if they know what manual hub setups would work to swap over on this '93 F250.

Thanks in advance!

You could probably get it at a junkyard... but you might find the clips in similar condition.

NAPA might have them, or something similar.

Havent torn into anything newer, but the last couple F250 and Chevy K series trucks with auto hubs could be easily converted to locking hubs for less than $180. Just a thought.
