Folding@Home... Help find a cure!

Unlike Seti@Home, searching for something that isnt there, check out Folding@Home, researching
protine folding in an effort to find cures for cancer and other diseases! This one is the real McCoy,
Stanford University is using megaclusters to solve complex problems... Download the little program,
run it in the background, and help find a cure! I myself leave my computer on 24X7, might as well
let it do some good while Im not playing games or buringing DVDs!

Did anyone click the link? Its not Spam!! The program by Stanford Uniforsity has been on TechTV and Good Morning America. I didnt know they reported on Spam.

I will bite my tongue and not say what is on my mind or Ill possibly get banned or put on probation. Some folks... When did I ever post spam in the past, and why would I start now.

Someone with at least a high school education help me out here..

So the idea behind this is to use other peoples computing power to solve small portions of a larger problem, then the pieces are put back together somewhere else?- My computer runs slow enough already because of SPAM
 
Jesus H. Christ... Can an admin please delete this thread? Its going in a totally negative direction, not the intent of the post nor my intent. Ive posted this on 2 other boards and got educated support.
