I use a Banks and I can say its the tits, it is a bit more expensive but its a one piece, the tone is a deep burble but not as loud as you would think, I like that borla gives a down pipe though. Down pipes btw, you won't find them unless you go custom, not sure if your doing the full exhaust or not.

Does anyone know if the APNs sound any different/any performance increase?

I used an APN/2000 intake setup and it has a slightly deeper tone than the stock exhuast manifold, but like what was stated.. it doesn't reall get a chance to breathe until you take the crimp out of the downpipe and install a decent catback.

Definitely want to get rid of that massive kink in the downpipe. Borla is the only one that sells a downpipe? Anyone know how much it would run to have one custom made?

use a dent puller on the crimpted part of the downpipe

I had one custom made for my Thorley header. Works fine, no dent. 3.5" of lift, HP D30.

Which kind? The screw type? You'd have to weld up the hole, wouldn't you?

you can use the weld type and just grind it off or if you use the one that reqires drilling, just have someone weld the hole when done.
