All automotive engineers should be forced to work as auto mechanics for 4-5 years before they are allowed to get anywhere near a design system.

Completely agree! Aside from design flaws which will alway plague cars, newer vehicles are only really intended to be worked on while in the assembly line!

If one of these engineers had to think about pulling a transmission or motors and see all the Indian obstacles in the way that only makes sense on a computer screen or the bottom line using cheap parts. Smart people surly these a way to build cars that can be maintained.
