fire damage

So i bought a 98 xj with a five speed for a pretty good deal. Only down fall is the previous owner lit the driver side floor on fire. No im cleaning up the mess of wiring and wondering if the wiring from my 2000 will swap into my 98. Now i just plan on swapping what runs along the rocker panel. Is this possible?

not for sure if the wires would swap over exactly but they will be close. Why cant you just repair the damaged wires? Are they completley FUBAR'ed?

Well i cant tell the difference between the carpet and pillar trim. About 2 feet of wire is completely gone.
