Don't know if anyone else on dailup has been having problems with the new chatroom, but I'll toss this out in case it may help.
when I logged in for the first time, I had to install Macromedia Flashplayer 8, since I didn't have it on the PC here at home. Took forever to download/install, then I could get in. But I could only see the chat window (no text, buttons, talk window, etc...) I right-clicked on the window and went into settings/setting manager, and redownloaded the player software (overwrote the existing copy), and all's good now. Must have been a botched install the first time around.
