not the liberals but profit taking from the communities with the highest per capita incomes in the world...we pay what the market will bear...supply and demand Lore5...supply and demand.
what additives...you mean ethanol? MTBE? what else? just curious to know what exactly is in our gas compared to other states, because AFAIK our refineries deliver to alot of other states which would make their prices higher too. Of course if this is true, then it would explain why i experienced the same prices in WA,OR,NV and CA...all states which get the same gas from the refineries i see on my way to tahoe. if there is anybody reading this thread with first hand knowledge please enlighten me.Lore5 said:I was exagerating, but one of the reasons gas is so high in CA is because our state is forced to put so many different additives in the gas.
Looks like you could start yourself a nice little "bootleg" gas business.I'll pay 1.60 a gallon delivered, let me know I'm on empty.Okie Terry said:And it was only $1.45 per gallon for 87 octane.
