Never really been rafting since I was a kid, would love to do it but can't really travel so that limits my options.

well that means i'm out. the powers that be have spoken. i'll be winging my way across the pond shortly. oh goodie for mountains and desert. but i get to be with the hubby......so there are some kudos.

hmmm.... i might still be in for the 14th, or maybe even the 21st. not sure because i wanna make a trip to the beach before school starts back, and i gotta pick what i wanna spend money on.

Just checked the rules a little closer and the half price deal is not valid on saturdays in july or august. The do have camping for $6 a person by the river as well as bunk houses that have AC for $12 a night with a min. of 8 people. Thinking the $6 bucks would be worth not having to set up camp for just a night. Bunk house has bathrooms, showers, fridge, microwave and an outside grill. Camping has a shower house. To get the half off deal we could all drive down Saturday, stay that night and then raft in the morning. They also have a ropes course, rock climbing, and paintball if we want to get into those on saturday. Check out the website at raft.com

I'd say let's go for August 24-25.
