Family rescued on the Rubicon

Saw a blurb on the local news here in Houston about a family stuck on the Rubicon near Vallejo (WTF) in an XJ. Was it anyone on here? Anyone know what happened?

I don't know any of the details but coincidentally my dad works with the guy who is the father of the woman in the story. He said no one in the office is talking about it at all .

Who puts a 4 month old kid in a situation like that? That's incredibly bad decision making.

Horrible idea. SO they got air lifted out?

They hike out 8 hours or so on day 2, to a spot where they got cell signal. Then the chopper came and picked them up.
