OK, I'm getting confused again with the "attendee's list"

So who is for sure and is the run even for sure?

just want to make plans... there are some others going to barnwell same weekend.
 
Im going. I might have a buddy with me as well (not in an Xj but a wheeler none the less). I'll be heading down Sat morning and tent camping on site.

Its only 190 miles. Little bit of a drive, but really everywhere other than Katemcy is for me here.
 
I spoke with Lori, the office manager today.

First off, we do not have to pay or participate in the concert/chuck wagon thingee that same weekend. Due to that event, they've already got 200 rigs participating. They're also over 3000 acres so that shouldn't be a problem.

Camping is $15 per night per rig. If you get there after 6 pm on Friday, it's a 2 day wheeling pass which is $40. Before that is a 3 day pass which is $60. Obviously, these are driver prices, not passenger.

Also, if we can get 12 rigs or more, that'll set us up for a discount. I don't know by how much and I'd have to contact Lori ahead of time with names and contact numbers.


I've said that I'll be getting there Friday morning. If I'm the only one to do so though, I may just say screw it and show up at 5:55 and save $20. Anybody planning on earlier Friday?
 
How many are going down Friday? I might head down after work on friday instead of Sat morning.
 
I'll definitely go Friday. Depends on early or late though. Don't wanna be the only person to get there Friday morning and Sarah has another sonogram scheduled for that afternoon.

Sounds good. Bout what time will you be passing through RR/austin area? Which road will you be coming in on?
 
i come up 71 from bastrop....gettin off work around noon and want to be in that area b4 traffic hits fri... where good place to meet an what time... mabee rodger can meet us there to if he going around same time??
 
where we gonna camp??? primitive or do we want power and water??
 
I was just planning on primitive. I don't have any of that fancy camping stuff.

From my place, there's 2 different ways to go: 29 west out of georgetown and 1431 out of cedar park. Both take about the same amount of time give or take 5 to 10 minutes. 1431 is a little bit more scenic and twisty/turny. You plan on being here around 3pm ish?

EDIT: is it to much to ask for a MOD/BOD member to edit the original post to include everyone?

I'll be there and will caravan with you. Is Jay coming? Haven't heard much from him?

Kurt, you coming? Justin's rig is chopped apart so he's out. Who's our other BOD?

At this point, unless others will commit and we get a solid list going: I don't see a point in Roger going to the trouble for turkey frying. Just sayin.
 
Yea, no Turkey for just 3 or 4 of us. However, I will provide dinner Sat night for all of us :)

I'll have my stove too for a breakfast and of course coffee!!!!

I have a late meeting Friday I have to make so won't be down until early Sat morning.

Keep your cells handy ;) do you use CB and if so what freq?

Never been to this place... need directions and an idea where you will camp.

Do they allow dogs?
 
I should be heading out on Friday afternoon. I reserved a spot with power and water ( not sure why really)
