Fall Run 2010

I may be in for this. I just picked up my first Jeep last month and im dying to get it off pavement, is Hidden Falls suitable for a n00b such as myself?

You should be fine... the trails are what they are... watch the guy ahead of you and you judge if you want to try. We all started new at some point. It's the only way to learn correctly.

With experienced trail leader, spotter and the others you will be fine.

Come on out... heck you can always ride shotgun too.

sounds like a plan....now i just have to decide which Jeep to bring. 01 w/ 3" lift and 31" muds or bone stock 99 on 30" GSA's? I'm leaning towards the stocker just to get a feel for everything and I think it'll force me to be a little more conservative.

Maybe Kurt(or some other mod) could update the first post to give us a current attendee list??

Well I don't get on Naxja much anymore as I sold my xj. I miss it but I have a pretty sweet yota truck I am building now. I am gonna try like crazy to make this run if you guys don't mind a yota tagging along. Im gonna try!!!-------------Kyle

This sounds like a lot of fun, I'll have to make one of these events one of these days. Does no one worry about getting stranded at the destination or is that just me.

bring the Yota :)

I'm trailering so i don't have to worry about brake downs and broken parts.
if mine is driveable... I'd be OK with trailering someone... but not to OK ;) :)

im not gonna be able to make this and im not looking to really bust anyones chops. But the last time kurt said anything on this event was august 7th. No-one's planned anything, nothings been confirmed as far as he has said. With the event being a month out now ill be pleasantly surprised if something comes together as far as a legitimate chapter event. As of right now it just looks like some of you guys getting together to wheel, put that in perspective with what other chapters are doing.

I concur... if it's organized than all the better but I'm just going to wheel and camp. If a lot of others can make it GR8.

If not I'd just like at least another XJ. The only guys here in my area that wheel are pretty hard Core with trailered trail rigs. Not real fun for me ;)

It would be nice to see some more organization with this.

I will organize me showing up, paying my fees, airing down, wheeling, and then getting home again somehow.

But seriously, what needs to be organized? Bring some food, there are grills to cook on there, and depending on who shows up, we will split into whatever groups if necessary and wheel.
