Fall Run 2010

Long Ranch is cool, but he might be closed if it is hunting season. If it is later than mid October or so, the only place that is going to be open in the hill country is Hidden Falls. Hidden Falls has some decent camping arrangements, its about 30 minutes from Austin, and just a couple miles outside Marble Falls

How about Hidden Falls, October 23rd and 24th? The following weekend is Holloween, dont know what you guys think about wheeling then or if you would rather do it that weekend?

I am in favor of this weekend as well, and have already stated my thoughts about where to go(Hidden Falls). Yah its not my B-day weekend but it is the weekend after a payday. But if all goes right I will have my new job by then. So I will need a definate date that I can ask off in advance of getting hired...

SO LETS MAKE IT HIDDEN FALLS ON OCTOBER 23 AND 24

I second (or is it third) that. Hidden Falls is well equipped to accomodate a large group (if we get that many people to attend). They have nice facilities and campsites for RVs or primitive camping. The trails are great for stock-ish rigs up to high-dollar buggys on 40+ inch tires.

He speaks the same as me for this past years trip, and I have had the Houston drive too the first two years I did it before that.

I was talking about me. I STILL will have to drive about 4 to 5 hours to get to hidden falls.

Magi... it's not ALWAYS about you... sheeesh. There ARE other people in this world.

Ok so it's been decided? Oct 23-24th at Hidden Falls? I've got a deployment coming so I hopefully can make it before I ship out.

Hey and Micheal Martin Murphy will be there that weekend too!

I plan on getting a tent for that date then. Mine was destroyed on out last event. It froze....hope it doesn't snow again. I'd commit suicide if it did. That'd be a sign.

HF is a lot of fun, but i figured if yall are gonna make it out for some hill country wheelin yall would want more rocks than what hidden falls has to offer... either way, it'll be nice to meet some of you guys finally... i'll be there, i may have a few of my buddys wheelin with me as well

I'm down for that weekend. Never been to hidden falls, so it will be nice to try out a new place.
