Ouch! Do you realize how coarse Herc is? That would tear up my hands for sure. You'd have to wear gloves which would defeat the purpose of coating them with Herc in the first place.
Does this stuff "hold" onto dirt, etc? I have seen guys who had rhino-lined parts on their jeeps and they complain about how it holds dirt and what-not so it always looks dirty and dull.
Yep. I did my rear bumper and it's extra work to keep it clean. If I had it to do over I'd find a poly product without the crumb rubber bits. I only worry about it a couple times a year. Mostly I'm glad it's not rusting and that I can stand on it without sliding off.
