Ok I purchased some extended bumpstops from a guy here on not our chapter. It appears they do not work on the 2000 XJ just the 1996 and previous.

Daystar KJ09101BK they are new never installed still have package. If you can use... make me an offer I think they work on wranglers too just not newer XJ's.
