OK, I have a 96 Explorer XLT 155,000 miles on it. 4.0L V6.
There is a intermitint chirping noise coming from under the hood.
Its not the belt, not the idler pully. Both replaced today. Its coming from the rear of the engine, up top near the intake manifold.
Back towards the PVC valve. But the PVC's not making the noise either.
Its driving me crazy. Does anyone have any idea or experience with this sound?
