I was driving down the highway today on my way to Nederland w/ a buddy for some light wheelin. A few miles from Boulder my JEEP suddenly get way louder, I call my buddy who is following behind me and ask, "Dude, did anything fall off my JEEP?" His reply, "No dude, oh wait.... something is hanging down under it."
My exhaust decided to come apart between the downpipe and cat. It just slips over and ususe a clamp to keep everything together. This had already happened to me on the connection after my muffler for the last bit of pipe that goes over the axle and to the tip. That part I just put in my storage as it didn't bother me. Anyways, I had to completely remove the section of exhaust that has both the cat and muffler. I drove my JEEP all day with just the header and open downpipe. Its pretty loud, I'll have to post a video before I put the entire exhaust back on tomorrow.
Well here is the vid:

Update: I fixed it today, now its back to normal and not all loud.

I'm going to go with it must have sounded better in person than on the vid clip. Thats one good thing about those little 110 lincon mig welders is spotwelding exhaust togather.

I remounted it and used a liberal amount of exhaust cement when puttingit back together. I then double clamped it using my 1/2"dr breaker bar to really crank down on it. After Christmas I'll take it to a buddies shop to have it welded.
