Exhaust shops in NWI

Due to new emissions laws recently passed, I need to get my exhaust repaired. I figured I would ask around for some good shops to get quotes from. thanks

Its been a Loooooong time since i had anyone do my exhaust on any car, i have no clue who's good around the area. I should probably start looking though, cause i do have to have my emissions done in Nov. and I have no converter at the moment.

I get a year before I have to worry about it, but mine is broken off shortly after the header, and sadly the 10,000 plates wont cut it anymore

I've had good experiences with Apex Muffler at the corner of 173rd and Indianapolis in Hammond. Had to haggle with them but they worked with me on the price and did good work.

!!!! Yeah i'm upset i cant use the 10k plates anymore, thats how i got around the emissions for so long! Oh well, i guess i have to be legit for a few days around emissions time, then take the converter off for less restriction.

Don't you just love lake and porter county. I've been looking at some sweet jeeps for sale lately, but they won't pass emissions without dropping some coin into them.

I use Valpo Exhaust - but that's probably a bit far for ya. Its just the owner and one worker but the work is great.

Unless said Jeeps are 25 years and older.........then you can get "antique" plates <------NO EMISSIONS
