Is that the technical term for the rubber mount that holds the exhaust near the tranny mount?
I've been looking online at various places such as quadratec and 4wd hardware for this part to no avail.Rock auto lists an insulator but doesn't show a picture....
thanks

Which tranny do you have?
I have BA10/5 that has an exhaust mount that is integeral to the trans. mount.
Not sure about the AX-15.

Did you try napaonline.com lookup exhaust systems an look at the pics of exh hangers

it had a ba 10/5 stock but I swapped in a ax15.I just went to napa's site and can't find it there either.
IIRC the exhaust isolator part of the tranny mount can be unbolted from the mount itself???I think I reused it when I swapped in the ax15.

So is the technical term for this part an exhaust mount or an isolator???Its not a hanger I wouldn't think.....

was under there today and it looks like the tranny mount bolts to the isolator...wonder how much they are going for, looks like there is a lot of steel to them so they're probably expensive.

Don't know what year you have, but for my '98 the part is called "Bracket, transmission mount." The rubber block is integral and not replaceable by itself. According to my parts book, it's #52058882 for automatic, #52058883 for manual. Jeepsareus have them, so should your dealer.

I just replaced the rubber insulator for the cat/exhaust thats built into the trans mount bracket. It's held on with 4 rivets and a bracket that goes over it. Took under an hour to do. I pay dealer cost(work for a dealer) for parts and it was under $10. It fixed the annoying rattle I had from the front pipe hitting the crossmember under load. While your under there change the rubber hanger right before the rear axle too. It made a world of a difference on mine.
