Engine Light, Gas Cap?

I had one of the hoses to the evap canister split on top where I couldn't visually see the split on my 01. It took following the line with my hand to find the split. The two most common places are the rubber lines at the cannister and the ones running up toward the engine compartment, at least that has been my experience with the later model xj's

I would try the lines that connect to the canister,thats where mine was leaking at , the hoses are pretty much junk.
