Engine Code 23

Hey all. I've got a 95 4.0/np231 and my engine light is off and on, with what seems random chance. It's showing a Code 23 which is
"Air Charge Temperature Sensor Voltage too High/Low Manifold Air Temperature (MAT) sensor input voltage outside acceptable range"

So question is this just a sensor issue? Or is there something deeper that I should be looking into?

Yes, it's probably a bad sensor - most likely the MAT sensor. :}
