I've tried searching and the info I find is sketchy at best... so I thought I'd start my own post.
I've been trying to track down a problem on my wife's 2003 KJ Liberty 3.7 Auto 4x4 for a while now. I'm getting the P0306 code and I'm starting to think it could be a valve spring or a stuck / crudded up valve. So without having to pull the head and try something to get us by for now I was thinking about trying some of the "snake oil" advertised to help clean up fouled internal parts such as stuck valves, lifters, seals, etc...
Maybe it's a waste of $$, but it's cheaper/easier for now than pulling the head. I've ran Seafoam thru a few of my Jeeps in the past, but not sure if that's enough to clean stuck valves (running thru the brake booster lines into the intake) Maybe pulling the #6 Plug and just dumping a can of Seafoam down that way? Honestly I'm a bit in over my head and not sure how to try and free a stuck valve w/out pulling the valve covers and what-not again. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated here.
