Not going to happen. This has been discussed previously.

I believe members can edit their posts for ~5 minutes after posting it, to correct typo's and such.

I'm not sure that non member users can do even that, but don't see (and would not support) the policy changing.

~35 minutes. I just checked a thread I had posted in; I was able to edit 30 mins after my original post. At 35 minutes, the edit option disappeared.
