Dynomax $75 rebate, $79.95 for catback after rebate

Got mine on Monday, 6/15- brings the cost down to about $40, with shipping and handling. It's good that the folks on the forum put this kind of info out, alerting everyone of deals like this. I like that the tailpipe isn't banging anymore- the Flowmaster just didn't fit quite fight, pushing the pipe over. Now everything fits nice, no leaks or bangs. This is the third Dynomax system I've installed, and I've had nothing but positive results. They sound just beefy enough, and the oldest one is a little over three years, and it seems to be weathering well.

Does anyone have pics of one of these installed?I want one for my 99' but I don't want a shiny tail pipe.Just something that basically looks stock.

It's not really "shiny", it's brushed stainless. So it's kind of "satiny". I'm going out right now to wrench and I'll take a pic to post up later.

It looks great. Not blingy at all......

If you have lift shackles, chances are you will have to mod the tailpipe anyway. I had to cut the last bend out of mine which was about 8-10 inches back from the tip. I cut the bend out then rewelded the tip on so it came straight out the back.

That shortened it enough that the tip is about 2-3 inches under the rear (stock) bumper, so you don't really see it anyway.

Here's the stainless tip.

I used a torch to heat on the bend and then used a pipe that slid into the tip as a lever to remove most of the bend. I didn't get it perfectly straight but it fits in there perfectly. Downsides..... burnt off some of the aluminized material so it will probably rust faster now, and it also bulged the pipe a tad which Im not too concerned about.
