"enlarge the intake manifold plenum opening to match". Any suggestion on the intake, or the existing one should be fine ???

The engine is a 0.020" overbored version of the 4.5L "poor man's" simple stroker on my site (stock cam, 9.2:1 CR, ported head with stock valves). The result was 205rwhp@4500rpm and 250rwtq@3500-4000rpm. The torque curve was as flat as Kansas with 88% of maximum torque produced at just 1500rpm. The only downside was that the rev limiter cuts in at only 4500rpm and I think the culprit is the JET Stage 2 chip.
