This thread is not about rubbing my numbers or my jeep in peoples faces. Just for you to compare to whatever. I find those are very respectable numbers. There was a stock rubicon put down 140hp with 33inch tires stock gears. I 383 stroker built to 500hp put down 140hp on the dyno plus he had 40inch boggers. A 5.3 vortec cj put down 240hp.

Then canfield show was a blast!

good lord thats a clean engine bay!

You may wanna re-dyno that, the HP and torque curves look like you shut it down at 4500 RPM with how fast they drop off, or you have a fuel delivery issue starving the engine of fuel at higher RPMS. From the audio it sounds like it has a lot more to rev. That engine should make max HP around 5200rpm and be good to rev to at least 5700rpm. Just my thought, but looks good.

203 HP and 296 TQ. Not bad. Seems about on par with the strokers.

With that said, you are still a goober. Also, I want to swap in a 5.0 at some point, so I do like the v8 mentality that you have. Clean also comes to mind.

The Corvette L98 engine was factory-rated at 245hp @ 4300rpm and 340lbft @ 3200rpm with a redline of 5500rpm. These dyno runs were also taken to 5500rpm so nothing wrong there, and the 203rwhp/296rwtq are right at the factory-rated peak RPM of 4300rpm and 3200rpm respectively. The torque is impressive.
For comparison, my 4.6 stroker put down 202rwhp @ 4700rpm and 258rwtq @ 3400rpm. The HP is almost identical but the L98 has potential to produce a lot more.

the mods make up for the tires and miles on the motor. Thats what i guess it would do before it ran. Now i should do tb/ ported intake heads. Maybe ill skip that and do a supercharger down the road. This is my daily driver for now so nothing to crazy yet.

Dr.dyno what size tires and gears u run to get them numbers? Nice numbers i didnt see any stroker jeeps run the dyno at the show other then the 383 stroker. Bunch of 500hp diesels also.

I would definitely get new intake runners and a new TB, port match the heads as well.

MAN! That's so clean it hurts! Did you do the conversion? If so, you should do it as a side gig. It'd be a nice power choice option.

almost 20grand in receipts i have. 99% rust free too. Plan on keeping it forever but u know how that goes. Plan on 33inch tires thats it. Um not building a tank or a drag jeep. I guess it will be something in between yet daily driven.

Um, didn't you buy it like that?
edit: "The guy i bought it off of said he had well over 20000grand in it when it was all said an done. This is whats gunna kill you guys. I bought it off ebay for 5100$$ robbed him and left."

Stock 225/70R15 tires (27.4") and stock 3.07 gears on my '92 XJ. Here's my dyno sheet:

This was after I did an '01 XJ intake swap. Previous dyno numbers were 200rwhp @ 4750rpm and 254rwtq @ 3500rpm with the original '92 intake.

thats awsome dr.dyno. I plan on putting 33x12.5 on and re dyno it changing nothing and see how much hp and tq ill lose. What u guys think ill make then?

I don't think there'll be much difference compared to the 31's you used on the last dyno. I could hazard a guess if you compare the weights of the wheels with 31's and with 33's. Heavier wheels will suck up more torque due to the rotational inernia.
