Duming the AC

Since the buggy won't be running AC, I'd like to mount the Alt. in its place.
It seems to me I've seen pictures of this set up.
Have any of you done it?
What does it intail?
Hose location should not be an issue since I have moved the radiator to the back anyway.

I've been meaning to mount a second alt there for years, but havent ever taken the time.
I checked it out a long time ago and it was going to be a peice of cake.
My intension was to mount it in a fixed, non adjustable, position and just make sure the top of the serpentine pully was in the right place...

ive done it on both renix's and a H.O.

i didnt mess with hose location either, and my radiator is still up front. it does complicate spark plug changes, but no interfierance either way.

i have a cs144 in my renix, using oem bracketry, and the smallest fab project ever.

on the H.O., you gotta fab up a little bracket, it should be no problem for you, seeing the scale of your buggy. we used a durango 130amp, iirc.

both use a 770k6 belt, thats a 77'', 6-rib serpentine belt.
