Dually MJ?

I love it! I wish I had a reason to snatch it up. Hopefully someone on NAXJA bids and wins, I'd love to see that restored and used as a tow rig. I mean, how cool would it be to show up in Moab haulin' your junk behind that MJ?

I saw another one somewhere, guy had takin the axle off a 1983 Toyota 3/4ton dually mini-truck and swapped it under a 90 MJ, looked pretty slick with those 34/9.50 swampers

Here are a few pics.

I'd love to get that and crew cab it. Keep the bed length but do an XJ cabin so i could fit the family if necessary. Would be fun to have and tow my XJ with.

There is a MJ in Lynchburg VA, crew cabbed and dualed. I had a pic somewhere but couldn't find it. Its well done and I want it! The guy that built wont let it go.

Is that OEM? It just looks aftermarket to me.

From what I've heard they were not factory, but a conversion done by a separate company and then sold through Jeep dealers. Something similar to the four door Broncos that were built by Centurion.

Couldn't tell from the pic, but it looks like the basic semi-floating rear axle found under our rigs, with wheel adapters for both front and rear. Probably no more "heavy duty" then any other MJ.
