Are there any central Drive in Theaters? in the Portland/Vancouver area? I know there is one in Newberg.. but I was hoping for a more central location.

The last one around me in the vancouver area was dozed over for a Winco last year. I always wanted to start one up again. I would rather pay 20 bucks to go do that then sit in a stinky/sticky room full of idiots with cell phones and yelling kids while eating popcorn that will make my guts rotuke:

I know there is one on Whidbey Island at least there was 2 years ago. That was allway's a blast to go watch. I don't know why they close them down I guess they are to much work to keep going. I wish they would start opening them up again.

The one in newberg is a good time, fairly reasonable prices, I used to go almost weekly in the summer in high school, after that every summer for the vw night, its been a couple years since the last time I have gone though. From beaverton Newberg is a short drive, I commute newberg to hillsboro everyday.

Only downside is that it is seasonal, they open in the spring and close I think mid october?

Yup, right off 272nd st. We go there at least a couple times a summer. Can't beat the price, and they're all double features.
