Don't you love commuting?

Its official, I'll be commuting to Centenial everyday to work. Its only 130 miles a day.:rattle: I guess parts runs will be a bit easier now.

But first I have to fly out to wonderful scenic and exciting Colombus Ohio to get everything started. That means I will miss ColoradoFest. I'm pretty bummed out. I was wondering if I should just keep all the swag I got for the raffle or if someone would volunteer to haul it? I'm sorely tempted to selectively forget to include a couple of items.

Carpooling can save your mind. What's in Centennial? I'm just waiting to be laid off.

My 4-mile commute is killing my fuel economy!

Congrats on the job.

Its not my mind I am worried about, it is my pocketbook.

I just got a senior test engineering position with Nexergy on Arapahoe. They make custom power supplies/battery chargers/custom battery solutions for high tech applications.

As it turns out, there is a guy who works there that commutes from Loveland. I probably will try to work something out, otherwise there is a van pool from Loveland to DTC I can get into for around $150 a month. I would just leave my Exploder down there and just do the two miles from the common point.

That's pretty cheap. FREX is like $250 a month, and I'd have to get off at Arapahoe, and get back to Inverness somehow.

I've been doing 120 miles a day for 3.8 years. It gets on your nerves. If you leave early in the morning, those drivers are fine. It's the retards in the afternoon that can get to you. Mommies in Odyssey vans drive more aggressively than lawyers in Porche's.

And I thought I had it bad with a 92 mile round trip.

Sounds like the van pool would be a pretty easy winner, as long as you've got a regular schedule. Even I had that available, my schedule is random enough that it probably wouldn't work.

Something about that sounds wrong???????:wierd:

In regards to your first post, I would haul the Brown dog motor mounts for you. I also will not be making it to COfest, but the offer still stands =P.

hey, where the F$%* is my Porche??? I got screwed somewhere... :gonnablow

I'm rocking 78 miles round trip, Littleton to Boulder. Just got a new job only 8 miles from my house, looking forward to having 6 hours of my life back a week and some extra spending money...

If you want to really deal with traffic go to LA they are shutting down the 405 for a few hours and expect traffic to be backed up some where between 30 and 50 miles ,
