Dog people

Because I am new to Colorado, I am in search of an excellent vet for my dog. She hurt herself yesterday. Can you all point me in the right direction? I am very particular about who handles my dog. I'd love it if some of you that bird hunt or know people that do would find some names for me. I'd prefer it to be close to me but I traveled an hour to my vet in St. Louis and would do the same here for a true professional. Tell me some of your experiences. Thanks.

I use West Side Animal Hospital, here in the Springs. It's on Colorado Ave near 17th (I think). I know several people that take their pure-bred Mastiff's, St Bernard's and Bulldogs there. They are a top notch place, as far as I can tell. I've been using them for over 3 years.

We've taken our lab to Dr. Wassinger on Cimarron in the Springs for the last 15 years. Saved her when we brought her home from the Humane Society, and she about died from Parvo.

There's an animal hospital in Castle Rock just north of 5th Street, on the east side of I-25. Mom and my sister have both taken dogs there for routine work and emergencies, but I can't seem to find them or the name right now. I'll look for it again and see what I can come up with for ya.

From Woodland Park, take I-25 North to the Wilcox/Wolfensberger exit and turn right. You'll end up heading south again, on Wilcox.
Turn right (west) at 5th
Take first right on Jerry, the hospital will be on the left 50 yards ahead.
