Although it looks hot, and I have seen one for sale on eBay, I don't think I'd do it. Just seems like it might be overkill. Plus you'd probably want to stiffen the unibody up pretty good, and don't you have to get rid of the heater and a/c to drop it in? I think I heard somewhere it makes fitment a lot easier if you remove all that stuff, which I wouldn't want to.
I still kinda don't see why a 5.2L or 5.9L out of a ZJ or Dakota would be a bad option if you just took the engine, trans and maybe t-case along with the computer and wiring. At that point I don't think there would be much "adapting" to do, the whole drivetrain would just be in a different vehicle. Granted you'd probably still have to stiffen up the unibody.
Did you open the link and read the writeup? I didn't see anything about getting rid of the heater and a/c to drop it in. All seemed pretty straightforward to me. I personally think it would be badass.
